Vintage Synths Book

Oli Freke follows his 2021 book, Synthesizer Evolution: From Analogue to Digital (and Back), with a series of zines.

The invention of the synthesizer in the 1960s changed music production and musical culture forever by opening up a whole new world of sound for musicians.
"Vintage Synths" celebrates this technical innovation and its history by presenting 46 of the most influential, important and interesting synthesizers from 1939 to 1998, including the Minimoog, ARP 2600, Yamaha DX7 and Roland Jupiter 8. These instruments introduced new technologies, had a significant impact and even formed the basis for entirely new genres.

The 52 page book is 10,5 cm x 14.8 cm in size and printed black and white and bound (fastened with a spine).
