Flame MemoSlider silver
Flame’s MemoSlider is a performance-oriented CV and trigger sequencer. The module’s eight steps can be manually selected via a fader or a control voltage. – This can happen either freely or synchronized to an external clock signal. Of course, it is also possible to use the MemoSlider as a classic step sequencer. In this mode of operation, the fader determines the playback direction and number of steps. Several CV outputs and glide options make the MemoSlider even more versatile. – A great tool for creating complex modulations or arpeggios.
The MemoSlider is an analog sequencer with eight steps. CV values are set via potentiometers. Two outputs emit voltages in the range from 0 V to +10 V and -5 V to +5 V simultaneously. For smooth transitions between steps, there is a glide function with three time ranges. A potentiometer is used for fine adjustments. The glide parameter can be modulated via a CV input. When switching between steps, the module generates trigger signals (+5 V).
The MemoSlider features three modes of operation. Details:
- Slider mode: Steps can be selected manually via the module’s fader or a control voltage.
- S&H mode: Similar to the slider mode. Here, the module switches between steps only if a pulse at the trigger input is detected.
- Stepseq: Classic sequencer mode. Pulses at the trigger input make the module switch between steps. In addition, there is a reset input. The fader can be used to determine the running direction and the step count.
Thanks to a slider CV output with a range of 0 V to +5 V, the fader can be used as a control element for other modules as well.
