RBN-1 is an innovative way of modulating your sound, featuring adaptive bend behavior that allows to pitch bend notes several octaves according to the original note played. Vibrato effects and fine pitch modulation are also possible, giving you hands-on control over your sound.

The RBN-1 works with any device that has an expression input and is not "limited" to use with a UDO Audio synthesizer. The connection is made via a 3.5mm TRS jack or a 1/4" TRS jack. When used with the Super 6 and Super 8, the ribbon strip uses UDO's effortlessly musical intelligent pitch expression method, bending only the currently held note(s) without affecting sustained sounds or reverb tails. 

With the separately available 6hp Eurorack module RBN-1-C, the Ribbon Controller can also be used to control a modular synthesizer. It provides the user with two CV/Gate outputs and other features.
